The miracle of Tinos is not only the Holy Image of the Virgin Mary, which has made it famous. It is the wild beauty that will accompany you: rocks sculpted by the wind, beaches with deep blue waters, Cycladic villages perched on the slopes. On this island of Cyclades, more than thousands of miracles will be discovered: secluded beaches or equipped for water sports, diving or windsurfing, excellent local cuisine to be tasted, pilgrims “walking” on their knees all the way to the church and lunar landscapes! 750 chapels and churches, 600 pigeons and 34 settlements, Catholic and Orthodox, as well as the Sanctum of Poseidon, where the pilgrims were getting “purified” before passing to the holy island of Delos. If you get to know Tinos, you will remain faithful this destination, once and for all.
